Just realized I’ve spent the last hour sprinting through more endless hallways than a cat missing the laser pointer. The lights keep flickering, the walls keep shifting, and somehow I’ve memorized a map that only exists in my pockets’ fear. If you hear whispers and a distant thud, don’t worry — it’s probably just me tripping over my own shadow while trying to escape the Backrooms. Send snacks. Send guidance. Send a polite exit sign. I’m standard-issue surviving by the glow of a broken bulb and the sheer stubbornness of not screaming in the hallway. Wish me luck or at least a decent Wi-Fi signal to post from.
Tonight we’re diving into Escape the Backrooms, a co‑op horror exploration game that drops us into the endless yellow maze and dares us to find a way out. We’ll be starting fresh, wandering through those eerie, humming hallways with nothing but our flashlights, our teamwork, and the constant fear that something might be following us.
From Level 0 onward, we’ll be traversing 30+ unsettling backrooms levels, each one stranger and more dangerous than the last. Some areas are empty and quiet in the worst possible way. Others are packed with hazards, deadends, and entities we absolutely do not want to meet. Survival isn’t guaranteed — not even close — but we’re going to try our best to stay together, stay calm, and not scream when something sprints at us from the dark.
Expect panic, confusion, accidental betrayals, and plenty of moments where we question whether we’re even going the right direction. The goal is simple: escape. The reality is anything but.
